Oxymetholone 50mg by Southern Ghost UGL is an anabolic androgenic steroid originally developed for medical use. It’s best known by the former brand name Anadrol. Medically, it has been prescribed for specific conditions where increasing red blood cell production or preventing severe muscle wasting is important.

Legitimate medical uses have included treatment of certain anaemias, oxymetholone stimulates red blood cell production, so it has been used for aplastic anaemia, anaemia caused by deficient red cell production and some forms of bone marrow failure.

Counteracting severe weight loss and muscle wasting, historically used in conditions involving chronic infections, trauma or major surgery recovery, severe malnutrition and muscle wasting diseases.

Support in some HIV/AIDS related wasting syndromes, before newer therapies became widespread, anabolic steroids including oxymetholone were sometimes prescribed to help maintain body weight and muscle mass.

Hereditary angioedema, in some cases it has been used to reduce the frequency and severity of swelling attacks.

Physiological effects that led to these medical uses include increased protein synthesis, increased appetite, increased red blood cell production, improved nitrogen retention and a gain in body mass and strength.
