Aromasin 12.5mg by Southern Ghost is an aromatase inhibitor (AI) that contains exmestane. Medically, it’s primarily prescribed for hormone receptor positive breast cancer in postmenopausal women. In bodybuilding and anabolic steroid use, people use it mainly to control estrogen levels.

Bodybuilders commonly use aromasin because some anabolic steroids , especially testosterone and other aromatizing compounds, can convert into estrogen through the aromatase enzyme.

They use exemestane to reduce estrogen related side effects, prevent or reduce gynecomastia, decrease water retention and bloating, create a drier appearance before competitions and manage estrogen during steroid cycles.

It is especially common during cycles involving sustanon, dianabol, oxymetholone in some cases and other aromatizing anabolic steroids.

Some bodybuilders prefer exemestane over other aromatase inhibitors beacaue it is an irreversible aromatase inhibitor, it causes less rebound estrogen increase after stopping and has fewer negative effects on IGF-1 compared with some other AIs.
